This opportunity is for an Infrastructure Analyst on site at our client. As an employee of Productive Resources, you will implement and integrate new information technology infrastructure using approved Information Technology (IT) processes. Responsible for the investigation, cost analysis/justification, selection, planning, and implementation of changes to some subset of the information technology infrastructure. Participate in review and formation of processes. Primarily performs as an individual contributor but may supervise a small work team. Serve as an expert and is routinely involved in decision making relative to process, technology or business-related issues. Has broad contacts with multiple functional and business partners on strategic business relationships and projects.
 
Duties:

·         Work with suppliers in defining requirements for contracts and service levels for purchased infrastructure services.
·         Apply detailed analysis to optimize Information Technology (IT) infrastructure in support of major business processes.
·         Anticipates the need for, identifies, analyzes, selects, cost justifies and applies new information technology infrastructure components within a diverse environment as required to support strategic business plans and processes.
·         Implement and optimize the integration of new Information Technology (IT) infrastructure using approved IT processes.
·         Lead / facilitate / participate on projects or group meetings or teams responsible for strategic projects or projects that span two or more functional areas, identifies and pursues opportunities to leverage systems, maintains focus of team, keeps key stakeholders informed.
·         Establish, design and implement project measurement techniques.
·         Facilitate team building by coaching, mentoring, and providing leadership to a small number of teams.
·         Responsibility may include chartering and defining the make-up of the team.
·         Design and implement complex changes which impact multiple processes and functions.
·         Provide leadership in the change communication process by promoting new ways of communicating and coordinating change information.
·         Manage the current infrastructure to allow for maximum availability, at a minimum cost, and optimizing performance in a complex environment for multiple business processes.

Requirements:
·         5+ years of experience managing (supporting or building) medium to large networks.
·         3+ years managing and supporting Cisco products, including router and switch configuration.
·         Understanding and experience with using network monitoring tools, including using network tools for packet analysis.
·         Strong knowledge and at least 2 years of experience with network security with a focus on firewall configuration, incident management, and/or penetration testing.
·         Strong shell scripting experience, 3+ years, to automate tasks and reports.
·         Strong knowledge of and some experience with C or Perl or similar programming language.
·         Experience with WAN circuit setup and testing Strong trouble-shooting skills to solve complex networking issues.
·         Strong experience with LAN and WAN implementations using, including wireless network setup.
·         Strong knowledge of network architecture and distributed environment architecture.

Preferred Skills:
·         Software development experience to integrate tools and systems, especially to integrate monitoring tools.
·         Software development to automate tasks, especially with Python, Perl, or C style programming language.
·         Support and management of Cisco Prime. Strong experience with network monitoring and analysis tools, especially Splunk and Netscout nGeniusOne.
·         Experience with WAN circuit setup and testing.
·         Firewall configuration and support, especially with Checkpoint firewalls and Firewall Thread Device devices
