This opportunity is for a first shift ASC Facilities Engineer on site at our client. As an employee of Productive Resources, you will plan, coordinate and perform facilities project and maintenance engineering work for facility infrastructure, production equipment and processes of moderate to large scope. Operate in a team environment. Assign, coordinate and review the work of support and contract personnel. Provide project and supply management for projects of limited scope. Decision are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors
 
Duties:
·         Provide Project Management using project management processes for small to medium scope facility infrastructure projects that support manufacturing, maintenance and/or operations. Project management responsibilities include cost, schedule, risk management and quality control.
·         Provide technical guidance and coordinate with the work of internal resources, external design professionals, and construction contractors from concept through implementation for your own projects or in support of other project managers.
·         Perform analysis, make design decisions, and provide proposals for solutions to facility engineering issues at multiple factories.
·         Support or lead execution of projects including material handling devices, building additions, office remodeling, dock additions, spill containment, environmental compliance, manufacturing equipment moves, and other projects not listed.
·         Support or lead value engineering efforts to produce a cost-effective design.
·         Communicate and ensure a collaborative environment with high performance teamwork with leadership, maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, environmental staff, supply management, facilities staff, consultants, and contractors.
·         Provide life, safety and building code analysis on facilities projects and support and implement programs within the organization to prevent injuries and illnesses.
·         Assist in the identification and resolution of potential environmental, safety, ergonomic and health hazards.
·         Coordinate with internal Supply Management to develop project sourcing strategy and research market for qualified suppliers of materials and services.
·         Prepare purchase requisitions for management approval.

Requirements:
·         5+ years of experience with site and building Civil, Architectural, and/or Structural Engineering infrastructure systems and facilities design.
·         Demonstrated multi-discipline project management experience on capital expenditure projects focusing on schedule, budget and quality expectations with the ability to prioritize multiple active projects simultaneously.
·         Demonstrated experience in procuring and coordinating multiple skilled trades, contractors, and outside consultants to achieve project objectives.
·         Experience with computer aided design.
·         Experience procuring, coordinating, or working with multiple skilled trades, contractors, and outside consultants to achieve project objectives.

Preferred Skills:
·         Registration as a licensed professional engineer, architect, or equivalent.
·         Formal project management training and PMP Certificate (Project Management Professional).
·         Knowledge of construction industry project delivery methods, controls, and construction contract management.
·         Cross competency experience with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Supervision, Supply Management, Environmental, and Maintenance Engineering.
·         Working knowledge of OSHA Safety standards, quality and environmental laws, regulations and goals.
·         Experience with applying industrial facilities systems infrastructure design principles in or to support a manufacturing environment.
·         Degree in Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering (University 4 yr. degree)
